Kendra 3000 is sitting at home enjoying a morning beverage and planning for the day when her neighbour Angela 990 storms in. Again Kendra 3000 is shocked, and her computer brain almost short-circuits as she struggles to say something, anything, to Angela990 to get her to not fire it. Among the strategies she uses are reminding Angela 990 that they’re friends and neighbors, assuring her that she wasn’t flirting with Angela 990’s partner, and shaming Angela 990 by stating that fembots aren’t suppose to intentionally damage each other. It is clear the tables have turned and Angela 990 makes it all the more clear when she coldly reminds Kendra 3000 that she works in a robotics lab and her intention is not to destroy Kendra 3000, but to “fix” her. Kendra gets up party to try to defend herself and partly to get closer to Angela 990 to try to talk her down. As she tries to talk Angela 990 does she moves closer to her and when she thinks she can do it, Kendra 3000 tries to take the EMP zapper from her. A struggle ensues and Kendra 3000 accidentally fires it, hitting both Angela 990and Kendra 3000. They both stumble around on their feet as their systems fry. Eventually they lose power and bends at the waist with their ass in the air. The scene changes to Kendra 3000 sitting facing the camera and Angela 990working on her, presumably through Kendra 3000’s open back panel. Angela says that should do it and she powers Kendra 3000 on. A beep is heard, Kendra 3000 opens her eyes, and she states “System startup. Loading system drivers. Loading fembot OS. Loading persona program Kendra 3000.” Kendra 3000 returns to life and she surprised and not at all impressed that Angela 990 is accessing her back panel. Luckily, aside from her head and face, she can’t move. When she sarcastically asks if Angela 990 is going to quote unquote “fix” her, Angela990 fires back that she’s lucky Angela 990 works in a robotics lab and therefore her systems have an extra level of protection. It helped that the EMP zapper was on its lowest setting.Otherwise Kendra’s 3000 partner would have found them both powered down when they got home. But now she’s almost entirely repaired. This prompts Kendra 3000 sarcastically ask why Angela 990 is repairing her if she thinks Kendra 3000 is flirting with her partner. Wouldn’t it be easier for Angela 990 to simply dismantle her – reduce her to her component parts – show the world she is nothing more than machine. In response Angela 990 confesses that she was probably overreacting and that she never planned on actually breaking Kendra 3000. After all they’ve known each other for years. Beside Kendra 3000 is far too beautiful of a machine to break. This makes Kendra tilt her head to the side as she processes this confession.
